2024-2025
Cool Science Competition Honorees
During the Fall of 2024, the 13th annual Cool Science Extreme Weather Art Competition received entries from 274 K-12 students in Massachusetts, Kansas, Missouri, and other locations answering the following challenge questions:
1) What will your community look like when we are not using fossil fuels for energy in 20-30 years?
2) What jobs will be needed to adapt to more extreme weather?
3) How can plants and animals adapt to a warmer ocean?
After a careful and thorough evaluation process, the Cool Science team selected 12 entries that will be displayed this spring on buses in MA and KS to educate commuters and the public about extreme weather.
Cool Science is proud to present the honorees for 2024-2025. Thanks to all the teachers, mentors, and parents who helped students learn about extreme weather and express their ideas through art. We hope you enjoy the artwork!
